Umuchi puts it in one place, and explains the parts nobody explained to you. UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU WERE TOLD Ask a health question in your own words and get an answer in plain language, with an honest limit instead of a confident guess. Paste a lab result and read what each value means. Point your camera at a medicine label and find out what it is for. Highlight any word you do not know — on a letter, a label, a result — and read what it means without losing your place. KEEP THE LIST THAT MATTERS Medicines, doses, conditions, allergies, surgeries, and your provider's details, in one place you can actually produce when somebody asks for it. File the letters and results you are handed. Reminders for the things that are easy to forget, which catch up with you instead of piling up after a bad week. WALK INTO AN APPOINTMENT PREPARED, AND COME OUT WITH IT WRITTEN DOWN Keep the questions you meant to ask, then tick them off and type the answer next to each one while you are still in the room. Afterwards, write down what changed, what to watch for, and when to come back — and the follow-up becomes a reminder on its own. FOR THE PERSON YOU LOOK AFTER Separate profiles for a parent, a partner, or a child, each with their own medicines, records and contacts.
