Five cards on the table. Two in your hand. One opponent running in the lane beside you. Build the better hand before you reach the finish. Poker Master is a running game built on Texas Hold'em. Five shared cards sit at the top of the screen, and both you and your rival play off the same board. What decides the round is the two cards each of you is holding, and those you pick up off the track as you run. TWO CARDS, ONE BOARD Cards lie scattered along a bright green track. Run through one and it drops into your hand, replacing the older of the two you were holding. So your hand is always the last two cards you grabbed, and every pickup changes it. Your best poker hand is made from those two cards plus the five on the board. Look up, see a pair of jacks on the table, and suddenly the jack lying on the left side of the track is worth swerving for. Spot three hearts up top and a heart becomes the most valuable card on the road. The hand name appears as soon as you make one. One Pair. Two Pair. Three of a Kind. A Straight. Your rival's hand is shown too, so you always know exactly who is ahead. TIMING IS EVERYTHING Because a new card always pushes out an old one, grabbing the wrong card can wreck a hand you already had. Sometimes the best move is to steer around a card on purpose and keep what you are holding. Sometimes you want to collect two in a row to build something new right before the line. Knowing when to pick up and when to leave a card alone is the real skill. WATCH THE ROAD The track is full of trouble, and each hazard hits you differently. The thief darts back and forth across the lane, and if he catches you he runs off with 200 of your chips. Giant swatters slam down onto the track. Get hit and your two cards are dealt again from scratch. Spinning slot machines are the wildest of all. Run into one and the whole shared board reshuffles, five brand new cards for both players. A losing hand can turn into a winner in an instant, or the other way round. Your rival faces the very same hazards, so the lead can change hands right up to the finish. CLIMB THE TOWER Run through stacks of chips along the way and they pile up behind you. At the end, that stack becomes your ladder up a tower of coloured steps, each one marked with a bigger multiplier from 1x right up to 10x. The more chips you carried in, the higher you climb. The five cards at the top tell you which cards on the track actually matter. Do not grab everything. A new card always pushes one out, so leave a card alone if your hand is already strong. Steer clear of slot machines when you are winning, and aim for them when you are losing. Keep your chips safe from the thief. The tower at the end is where they pay off.
