UBook Kitchen Display

UBook Kitchen turns a tablet or phone into a kitchen display for restaurants running UPOS System by UbookToday. Orders placed in UPOS System show up on the kitchen screen on their own, so the kitchen never waits on a paper slip. THE KITCHEN BOARD • One ticket for each round of an order, on a full-screen board made for a busy kitchen • Colour shows the step at a glance: blue for New, orange for Preparing, green for Ready • A waiting-time badge on every ticket turns amber after 10 minutes and flashes red "LATE" after 20 • New tickets chime and are highlighted when they arrive (the sound can be turned off) • Orders scheduled for a later pick-up are shown too WORK THE LINE WITH A TAP • Tap an item to move it from sent to preparing to ready • Start a whole ticket, bump it when it is ready, or recall it if it has to come back • "Recall ready" brings finished tickets back on screen • Filter by station so each screen shows only its own items; the choice is remembered on the device BUILT TO STAY ON ALL SHIFT • The board refreshes by itself every few seconds and whenever the app is reopened • The screen stays awake while the board is open • A live/offline indicator and a clock are always in view • Adjust ticket width and text size to fit your screen and viewing distance • Themes and custom colour palettes OPTIONAL TICKET PRINTING • Print each new round once, automatically, from the kitchen device • Works with Bluetooth receipt printers (ESC/POS) or through the Ubook Printer Utility on a computer • Kitchen tickets carry no prices; choose how many copies to print EASY SET-UP • Sign in with a staff account (restaurant ID, email and password), or • Pair the device: the app shows a code and a manager approves it under Add Devices in UPOS System, with no typing on the kitchen device SUPPORTED DEVICES Works on tablets and phones, in landscape or portrait. A tablet is recommended for the kitchen board. REQUIREMENTS UBook Kitchen is a companion app for restaurants that use UPOS System by UbookToday. You need an active UPOS System restaurant account, and the staff member who signs in needs permission to view and update the kitchen. An internet connection is required. Bluetooth is used only to connect to a ticket printer.
