Alphamingo

Story time, without needing to know all the words. Alphamingo is an alphabet of little stories. Tap a letter and the page reads itself out loud, lighting up each word as it is said, so your child follows along and says the words back. Anna has an apple and meets an ant. A funny fish lives on a farm. Iggy is in the igloo, finding ice cream. One story for every letter, A to Z — 26 picture books, each a handful of pages with a big drawing and one sentence on every page. Read it together in the evening, or let them carry on ahead. Either way, they are picking up English while they enjoy a book, which is how it happens best. WHAT IS INSIDE • 26 short picture books, one per letter, A to Z. • "Read to me" on every page, with each word highlighted as it is spoken. • A choice of narrators — pick who reads to you. • Pages turn with a swipe, a tap on the picture, or two large arrow buttons. • Everything downloads to the phone, so it works offline — in the car, on a plane. • New stories and pictures arrive on their own. No update needed. WHAT IS NOT INSIDE • No advertising of any kind. • No sign-in. Your child never makes an account and is never asked for one. • Nothing to buy. No in-app purchases, no subscription. • No third-party analytics, no ad networks, no data brokers. • The only links are on the "For grown-ups" page, deliberately small and worded for adults. ABOUT PRIVACY Alphamingo collects nothing that could identify your child: no name, no age, no email address, no advertising identifier, no location. The app counts how often each story is opened and how far into it readers get, so we know which books work. Those counts carry one identifier: a random reader id the app invents the first time it runs. It comes from nothing on the phone, it is not linked to you or your child, and deleting the app deletes it. It exists only so we can tell whether the same copy of the app comes back to read again.
