Vekt: Workout Planner & Log

Streamline your strength and conditioning journey with Vekt—the perfect balance of advanced workout planning and extreme interface simplicity. Designed to protect you from cognitive overload during intense gym sessions, Vekt keeps the focus where it belongs: on your lifts. Vekt is a local-first, offline-ready workout tracker that stores all your data securely on your device. No forced accounts, no annoying popups—just your training, enhanced by smart automation and a powerful AI assistant. WHY VEKT? • Zero Distractions: A premium, distraction-free interface built using modern design aesthetics. Read-only detail views protect your data from accidental screen taps while lifting. • AI-Powered Workout Planning: Need a fresh training split? Speak to your AI assistant. Powered by Gemini 2.5 Flash, the assistant can generate custom plans from scratch, build Day B variants based on Day A, or refine your existing workouts to match your equipment (e.g. "I only have dumbbells"). • Smart Pre-filling: Never guess what you lifted last time. Vekt automatically fetches your last historical performance for each set and maps it 1:1, showing you exactly what to beat. • Local-First Privacy: Your workouts, your data. Everything is saved in a local SQLite database. You own your history. • Automatic Google Drive Sync: Back up your database silently in the background when the app is minimized. Plus, export or import your data via clean, human-readable JSON files anytime. • Body Metrics Tracker: Log your body weight and monitor trends with interactive visual charts. Includes automatic BMI calculation. KEY FEATURES • Active Workout Mode: Drag-and-drop to reorder exercises, swipe to delete, and swap exercises in a second if equipment is occupied. • Warmup Set Support: Instantly tag sets as warmup ("W") with automatic sorting to the top of the exercise. Warmups are excluded from main volume calculations. • Quick Adjustments: Fast plus/minus (+/-) weight and rep adjustments to limit keyboard typing. • Custom Exercise Catalog: Create, edit, and archive custom movements, complete with weight increment settings and category tags. • Full Unit Conversion: Switch seamlessly between Metric (kg, cm) and Imperial (lbs, ft) units. • Session Notes: Save specific notes for individual exercises or the entire workout. Say goodbye to cluttered, ad-heavy workout logs. Elevate your strength training with Vekt today.
