Connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi as your TV. 2. Open the app and tap Scan. 3. Pick your TV. If the TV asks, allow the connection or type the code it shows. Good to know • Your phone and TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network. • Roku: turn on Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Control by mobile apps. • Fire TV: turn on Settings > My Fire TV > Developer options > ADB debugging. If Developer options is missing, open About and click the device name seven times. • Panasonic: turn on TV Remote App Settings in the TV's network menu. Some 2019 and later models are not supported yet. • VIZIO and Chromecast: app shortcuts only for now. • IR needs a phone with a built-in IR blaster, found on many Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones. • Some keys depend on the TV. If Source or Menu does nothing, long-press it to choose another way in, and the app remembers your choice. Free, with ads you can pause The app is free and supported by ads. Ads never appear while you are pairing or typing. You can hide ads for two hours by watching a short video. Privacy The app talks to your TV directly over your home network. It does not need an account. The app does not record audio itself: voice search uses your phone's own speech service. Ads are served by Google AdMob, as described in our privacy policy.
