Pause, schedule, and monitor from the app or turnitoff.app ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE AND CHILD DEVICE MONITORING TurnItOff is a parental-control app. On a child’s Android device, it uses the AccessibilityService API, with the parent or guardian’s consent, to display and enforce screen locks, daily limits and schedules, prevent access to protected device settings, and help stop the child from disabling or uninstalling TurnItOff protection. TurnItOff also reports screen-time usage and protection status to the linked parent dashboard. Monitoring is visible on the child’s device, and the Accessibility Service can be disabled in Android settings. It is not used for advertising or marketing.
