The UB app is a handy tool for electronics hobbyists, students, and anyone studying electronics or building their own projects. The app’s core tools allow you to calculate voltage, current, or resistance based on two known values, with selectable units of measurement. You can also calculate the total resistance for series or parallel circuits involving two to six resistors. The app enables you to decode 3- or 4-digit resistor codes (including zero-ohm links) and determine the nominal value, tolerance, and resistance range for 4- or 5-band resistors. The app displays input values, formulas, and an explanation of the result. When you change the input, the previous answer is cleared, but the tool's draft data is preserved so you can continue working. Save your calculations—along with the original data and explanations—and add titles and notes. Locate entries using search and tool-based filters, reopen saved values for new calculations, or delete unwanted records. Decipher component markings, perform quick calculations, and save useful results with the UB app.
