Second Look Relationship Diary Live

Not sure if you're reading someone right, or overreacting? It's okay not to be sure. Second Look is a private relationship diary. No account, no server of ours, no ads or analytics: your journal is stored only on your phone, AES-256 encrypted. For a partner, husband or wife, a boss or colleague, a parent or in-laws: keep a dated record of what they said or did, how you read it and how you felt, and notice patterns over time, such as gaslighting or control. Wondering if it's toxic, if those were red flags, or if it counts as emotional abuse? You can look back at what you wrote at the time, not only at how it feels now. HOW IT WORKS 1. Write it down. It doesn't have to be tidy. "Keep it" saves it on your phone. 2. Tap what happened for a short card written by people, with one thing to try. No key needed; nothing is sent. 3. For a second read, add an AI provider you choose, with your own key, and ask when you want one: the level in a word, the reading in plain words and another way to read it. 4. Look back. Your record, mood trends and patterns measured on your phone need no key or connection. A reading is written by an AI model and can be wrong. It describes patterns in what you wrote. Never a verdict. KEEPING IT YOURS On a new install, the app lock starts on if your phone has a screen lock. If not, you can set a Second Look PIN (4 to 8 digits). The PIN stays on your phone; a forgotten one can't be recovered. Quick exit closes the app and clears it from recent apps in one tap. An optional "Notebook" icon and name replace Second Look on your home screen; Settings and the Play Store still show Second Look. Screenshots are blocked by default; while a lock is on, recent apps show no preview. Reminders start off, never name anyone, and stay off a secured lock screen. No backup, sync or export: uninstall, reset or lose your phone and the journal is gone. A deleted person disappears at once; their moments and readings are erased at least 30 days later. WHAT IS SENT Nothing from your journal is sent until you ask for a reading or send a message in Talk it through, and only to the provider you chose. If a reading fails, the app may offer another provider you set up; it goes only if you tap. A reading sends that moment and context about the same person, including up to ten recent moments (kept ones too) and the running notes. Talk it through sends the conversation so far, the latest reading and the running notes. The privacy policy lists all of it. Before sending, the person's name as spelled on their page and each word of it (not my, the or Mr) is replaced and put back in the reply. Your own saved name, emails, links, @handles, UPI IDs with common handles, phone numbers of 10+ digits and addresses written as a number then a street are replaced too. Nicknames, other spellings, joined or hyphenated forms, numbers not written in 0-9 and other people's names go as written. ALSO IN THE APP • Talk it through: a warm AI conversation about one person • Support numbers in Account (nine countries, or findahelpline.com); they can also appear when a moment or message seems to describe danger • Home-screen widgets: log a moment or see counts, never a name or a reading PRIVATE READING (BETA) On phones that can run it: tap "Read privately" for a short line written on your phone, after one 3.7 GB download. Your words stay on the phone. English only. AI PROVIDERS AND COST No in-app purchases. Readings and Talk it through use Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq or an OpenAI-compatible address you enter. Any cost, and what the provider keeps (the app can't delete it), is between you and them. Gemini and Groq have free tiers. On Gemini's free tier, people at Google may read what you send; Google asks that nothing personal be sent there. Second Look is not therapy or a crisis service.
