TruTag

TruTag helps people contact vehicle owners through a QR code without displaying the owner's personal contact details on the tag. Scan a TruTag QR code to notify a vehicle owner about an important vehicle-related situation. Vehicle owners can receive alerts, manage their vehicles and tags, and control unwanted contact from within the TruTag app. Key features • Scan TruTag QR tags • Send preset vehicle-related alerts • Send limited custom messages • Receive vehicle alerts and notifications • Make or receive supported vehicle-related calls • View alerts and communication activity • Block unwanted scanners • Report inappropriate messages or calls • Manage linked vehicles and TruTag tags • Access safety, privacy and account controls Vehicle-focused communication TruTag is designed for legitimate vehicle-related situations, such as notifying an owner about a parking issue, obstruction, lights left on, or another concern involving their vehicle. Instead of placing an owner's personal phone number directly on a vehicle, a TruTag QR code provides a controlled way for someone who finds or needs to contact the vehicle owner to send an alert. Safety and control TruTag includes safeguards designed to reduce unwanted or abusive contact. Vehicle owners can block unwanted scanners and report inappropriate messages or calls. Communication is subject to safety rules, usage limits and moderation controls. Users are expected to use TruTag only for legitimate vehicle-related communication and must follow the applicable Safety Standards and Terms. Privacy TruTag is designed so that scanning a vehicle's QR tag does not directly reveal the vehicle owner's personal phone number through the tag. Some information is processed to provide account functionality, notifications, communication, security, abuse prevention and moderation. Please review the TruTag Privacy Policy for complete details. Responsible use Do not use TruTag for harassment, threats, spam, fraud, unlawful activity or other prohibited communication. TruTag is intended to make vehicle-related communication simpler while giving vehicle owners tools to manage how they are contacted.
