MozQibla

mozQibla is a beautiful, privacy-first Qibla compass and prayer times app for Muslims who want an accurate spiritual tool — not a data-harvesting product wrapped in an Islamic UI. No ads. No accounts. No tracking. No data ever leaves your phone. Everything mozQibla does is calculated right on your device, and it keeps working even when you're offline. ★ ACCURATE QIBLA DIRECTION Find the exact direction of the Kaaba from anywhere in the world. mozQibla uses the great-circle (spherical) bearing formula for mathematically precise results, corrects for the difference between magnetic and true north, and shows your exact angle to the Qibla along with the straight-line distance to Makkah. ★ TWO STUNNING COMPASS MODES • Premium compass — a smooth, elegant compass with a refined emerald-and-gold design, degree markings, and a clear Qibla needle that glows when you're aligned. • Holographic AR compass — point your camera at the world around you and see a floating Qibla pointer and 3D Kaaba overlaid on your surroundings. Perfect for finding the direction outdoors. ★ GENTLE ALIGNMENT FEEDBACK A soft haptic buzz and visual cue confirm the moment you're facing the Qibla, so you can align with confidence without staring at the numbers. ★ PRAYER TIMES, DONE LOCALLY Accurate five daily prayer times calculated on your device — no server required. Choose from multiple calculation methods (Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian, Umm al-Qura, Karachi, Tehran) and your juristic school (Hanafi / Shafi'i) for Asr. See the countdown to the next prayer and today's Hijri date at a glance. ★ OPTIONAL PRAYER REMINDERS Enable local notifications with adhan and vibration for the prayers you choose. Everything is on-device — there are no push servers and nothing is ever sent anywhere. ★ SMART CALIBRATION When your phone's magnetometer needs help, mozQibla guides you through a simple figure-8 calibration and warns you about nearby magnetic interference — so you can trust your reading. ★ WORKS OFFLINE Once your location is known, the compass, Qibla calculation, and prayer times all work with no internet connection. Ideal for travelers and anywhere with poor connectivity. ★ FLEXIBLE LOCATION Use GPS automatically, or skip the permission entirely and enter your city or coordinates by hand. Your last location is cached locally for instant startup. ★ YOUR CHOICE OF LOOK & FEEL Light, dark, or system theme. Kilometers or miles. Multiple languages. Haptics and sound toggles. Set it up the way you like. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVACY YOU CAN VERIFY Most Qibla apps are free because you are the product. mozQibla is different: • No advertisements — ever • No analytics, telemetry, or tracking SDKs • No account or sign-up • No selling or sharing of your data — because we never collect it • Location is used only on your device to compute direction, and is never transmitted Read our full, plain-language privacy policy here: https://moazzamk.github.io/moz-qibla/ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Built with a modern Android stack for smooth, distraction-free performance. mozQibla focuses on doing one thing exceptionally well: helping you find the Qibla and keep your prayers on time — privately.
