True Cost... Is it Worth It?

True Cost Calculator: Know What You’re Really Spending: Website: https://truecostworthit.netlify.app Understanding the true cost of your purchases doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s simply a function of your income, your income tax level, sales tax, and most importantly — the time it takes you to actually be able to afford that purchase. This app takes all of those concepts and simplifies them into an easy-to-read, lightning-fast summary so you can make the decision: is this purchase really worth it? What the True Cost Calculator Shows You: • How many hours of work that purchase really costs you — adjusted to your hourly wage, so you can see the time price of anything you’re thinking of buying. • Your actual cost after taxes — using the most up-to-date Canadian federal and provincial income tax brackets from the CRA. • Salary or dividends? We’ve got you covered — whether your income comes as a traditional salary or as dividends from a Canadian corporation, the calculator adjusts accordingly. • Cost Comparison between Business and non Business Expenses? We have that too —if purchase qualifies as business expense see what your potential savings would be. The information is presented in a clear, easy-to-read format that makes the math effortless. No spreadsheets. No guesswork. Just instant clarity. Built-in memory means you only need to enter your income details once. Your salary, hourly wage, and preferences are saved so you can calculate the true cost of any purchase in seconds — anytime, anywhere. We don’t track your information, the data you put into the App stays in the local memory of your device. It’s the Little Things That Add Up the Most: That $6 latte on the way to work? That afternoon snack from the vending machine? The quick grab-and-go lunch? On their own, they feel harmless — barely a blip. But when you see that your daily coffee actually costs you 45 minutes of work after taxes, and that adds up to over 100 hours a year of your life… it changes the conversation. Delayed Gratification…. what if you wait on that purchase for 10 years, and invest in a total stock market index ETF, how much could you have then? This app provides a general graphical output of that too! The True Cost Calculator helps you pause and ask a powerful question in personal finance: “Is this really worth it?” Sometimes the answer is yes — and that’s perfectly okay. But sometimes, seeing the true time cost of those small, habitual purchases is the wake-up call that unlocks hundreds (even thousands) of dollars in savings you never knew you had.
