Game Harvester Record

Game Harvester Record is a field data collection tool for approved wild game harvesters supplying game meat processors. It replaces paper records: you record each animal as you take it, and the app delivers the record to your processor for you. Every record captures the animal's identification tag, its species and category, the date and time, and the GPS position where it was taken - the traceability details a processor needs before the carcass reaches the plant. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Scan tag barcodes with the device camera, or type a tag number in by hand - Choose species and category from the list your processor maintains - Capture the precise GPS position of every harvest as you save it - Work with no signal at all, and send the records later - See everything still waiting to be sent, and send it the moment you get a connection - Read why a record was refused, correct it, and send it again - Look back over the records your processor has already accepted, by date range - Check the app's activity log, and export a copy if support ever needs one BUILT FOR THE FIELD Harvesting happens where there is no mobile coverage. Every record you save is written to the device first, so nothing depends on having a signal at the moment you take an animal. The app watches for a connection and uploads the queue in the background, retrying on its own schedule, and starts again by itself after the device restarts. A record is only cleared from your device once the receiving system confirms it has been stored, so a failed upload never loses your work. WHAT YOU NEED This is a business application, not a general-purpose hunting or mapping app. You need a username and password issued by the game meat processor or supply organisation you harvest for, together with the address of their system. Without those credentials the app has nothing to connect to, so please speak to your processor before installing. Records are uploaded to FUSION, the meat processing and traceability platform developed by Triton Commercial Systems, who also publish this app. Your processor manages their own FUSION installation, and the records you send belong to them. LOCATION AND PRIVACY A harvest record cannot be saved without a GPS position, because tracing an animal back to where it was taken is the whole purpose of the record. The app reads your position only while it is open, at the moment you save a record. It never reads your location in the background or while the app is closed. The camera is used solely to read barcodes - no photograph is taken or kept. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. Requires Android 7.0 or later.
