Tripzo – Rail & Travel

Tripzo plans a whole rail trip in one place — trains, live running status, PNR, seat availability, hotels near the station you arrive at, and the taxi from there. SOURCES OF RAILWAY INFORMATION Live running status, station boards, PNR status, fares and seat availability originate from Indian Railways' own public enquiry systems and are accessed through third-party data providers. TRACK A TRAIN, LIVE Where a train is right now: how late it is running, the station it just crossed, the next stop, the platform and the expected arrival. FIND TRAINS BETWEEN ANY TWO STATIONS Search 5,000+ trains and 8,900+ stations, each with its full stop-by-stop schedule, times, halt duration, distance and running days. Unreserved passenger and MEMU trains are listed too — the ones most apps leave out because they cannot be booked online. FARES BEFORE YOU BOOK Check the fare for a route and class before you decide. PNR STATUS Enter a 10-digit PNR and see the booking status. Your PNR is sent to Indian Railways to fetch the result and is never stored in our logs. LIVE STATION BOARD Arrivals and departures at any station, the way the platform board shows them. RAILWAY MAP Every station on one map of the Indian network. HOTELS WHERE YOU ARRIVE Hotels near a station or anywhere in a city, with photographs, review scores and prices in rupees, compared across booking sites with the cheaper one marked. Hotel information comes from Booking.com and Hotels.com, not from any government source. Booking happens on the provider's own page, so no card or passport detail passes through Tripzo. TAXI ESTIMATE An estimated fare from the station to where you are going. BUSES WHERE THERE IS NO TRAIN When a route has no direct train, Tripzo hands the journey to redBus with the route and date already filled in. ASK IN PLAIN LANGUAGE Type or say what you want — "kal Hisar se Amritsar", or "trains from Delhi to Mumbai tomorrow" — and Tripzo works out the journey and builds a plan around it: the trains that run, the one that suits, the fare and berths, a place to stay near where you arrive, and the taxi from there. It shows you every assumption it made, so you can correct it. The planning is Tripzo's own and runs on Tripzo's servers. Nothing you type is sent to an outside AI provider, and there is no per-search cost — which is how Tripzo stays free. WORKS IN HINDI AND ENGLISH BUILT TO ASK FOR LITTLE No account, no sign-in, no ads, and nothing to pay. Tripzo asks for the internet, and for the microphone only when you tap it — never at launch. Location is optional and off until you allow it. It is used for one thing: while you are travelling, your phone can report which station your train has reached, so that live running status works for the passenger and MEMU trains the railway's own feeds do not track. You are told what it does before you are asked, and there is a switch in Profile to turn it off. Tripzo never uses your location in the background, and what is kept is a station, not a position. Your recent searches stay on your device. ABOUT THE DATA The train and station catalogue is a community timetable snapshot and may be out of date for recently introduced trains. Live status, PNR, fares and seat availability come from the sources listed above.
