Meridian: Prayer Times & Qibla

Meridian is built so that something you look at six times a day is correct and calm every time you look. PRAYER TIMES • Matching Diyanet's published calendar exactly. The month's table is downloaded once and kept on your device; no connection in between. • With no connection at all, times are calculated on the device — the app never shows you a blank screen. • Seven home screen designs: flow, classic list, large countdown, card grid, time rail, minimal focus and hourglass. • Kerahat (discouraged) windows, with when they start and when they end. • A shareable monthly timetable. NOTIFICATIONS • At each prayer, and as far ahead of it as you like. • An ongoing panel in the shade with a live countdown to the next prayer; the minutes remaining appear in the status bar for the last hour. • A diagnostics screen that tests in one tap whether your phone is holding notifications back. • A verse and a hadith with each alert — tap to read them full screen, or share them as an image. QUR'AN • Mushaf layout, translation, recitation and a memorisation mode. • Bookmarks, fit-to-page, typeface and size. QIBLA • Direction by compass, computed from your coordinates. No connection needed. TASBIH • Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah and Allahu akbar are ready to use; add your own. The volume keys count too. HOME SCREEN WIDGETS • Clock, today's times, the Hijri date, tasbih and more. SOURCES • Prayer times: the calendar published by the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet). • Qur'an text: Tanzil Project (tanzil.net). • Hadith: HadeethEnc.com — every hadith carries its collection and number; nothing is shown without a reference. PRIVACY • Your location is used for prayer times and the qibla. When the Diyanet table is downloaded, only your district's name is sent — never your coordinates. • No account required. No ads. OPEN BETA This is a beta. Please tell us about anything you run into — especially any case where the times do not match the calendar where you are.
