Trekosa

Trekosa helps you and your dog get out of the door with more confidence. Tell us about your dog once: what unsettles them, how far they like to go, what you would rather avoid. Drop a pin, choose how far you want to travel, and Trekosa shows you a short list of walks matched to that, measured against the things that matter to a nervous or reactive dog: busy roads, livestock, stiles and gates, woodland, open moor, and where the council's dog rules apply. Every walk says what we measured and when. Where other owners have walked it, they say what they found, and when they found it. We never tell you a walk will suit every dog. We tell you what is known, and how sure we are. Keep the walks you like. Get directions to the start. After a walk, say what you found in a few taps, so the next owner knows too. You can draw your own walk and share it with a link, or offer it to everyone. Further, an optional subscription, adds the OS Explorer map, walks across Great Britain, and following a walk with your phone in your pocket: a buzz if you drift off the path or before a turn that is easy to miss, and the way back to the start. Where it works today: trekosa.com/coverage shows every county we are in, and it grows each week. This is early access. The map and the measurements are ready; the people are arriving. If something is wrong, there is a feedback card in the menu, and we read every message. Trekosa asks where you are when you tap the locate button. If you follow a walk with Further, it keeps your place on the path until you press Stop, with a notification showing the whole time, and that position never leaves your phone. Your dog's profile is used to match walks and for nothing else. You can download or delete everything from Settings.
