TradeWeather: Market Signals

Should you be buying, or should you be resting? That is the question a swing trader answers before any other, and TradeWeather answers it on one screen. TradeWeather compares the 10-year Treasury yield against its 5-day mean and says what it means FOR EQUITIES, because a green light on a bond card is otherwise ambiguous. Falling, positive. Rising, stay alert. 3. WHAT THE SHORT END IS PRICING IN The 2-year yield moves ahead of the Fed. TradeWeather fits its trend over the last month and reports the phase - cuts being priced in, tightening risk, or expectations on hold - with the basis-point move behind the call, so you can disagree with it. 4. MOMENTUM RSI(14) and MACD(12,26,9) for SPY and QQQ, banded the way a swing trader reads them: overbought is a reason for caution, not to chase. Crosses are dated, so one from two months ago is never dressed up as today's news. When a source is unreachable, TradeWeather lights the gauges it has and tells you how many are dark instead of quietly showing less.
