Green Ledger

🌿 Green Ledger — Take Back Your Time Tired of losing hours to mindless scrolling? Green Ledger helps you break the cycle by placing a guided breathing exercise between you and your most addictive apps. When you try to open a restricted app, a 24-second breathing exercise gently interrupts the impulse — giving your brain time to decide, not react. Choose to walk away and earn points, or continue with awareness. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW IT WORKS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1️⃣ Choose Your Apps Select the apps you want to restrict — social media, games, news, or anything that steals your time. 2️⃣ Breathe Through Impulses When you open a restricted app, a calming breathing exercise appears. Complete it to unlock temporary access, or walk away and earn rewards. 3️⃣ Watch Your Growth Track your progress with daily insights, impulse trends, and streak tracking. Celebrate your wins as you build healthier habits. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ KEY FEATURES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🫁 Breathing Interventions A guided inhale-hold-exhale exercise activates when you open a restricted app. It's not about blocking — it's about creating a moment of awareness. 📊 Usage Insights & Analytics See your impulse patterns over time. Track which apps trigger you most, how often you resist, and your daily usage trends. 🏆 Points, Streaks & Levels Earn points every time you choose not to open a restricted app. Build daily streaks, level up, and compete with your past self. Gamification that actually helps. 🛡️ Smart App Blocking Customize restrictions for each app with personalized messages and intervention durations. You're always in control. ☁️ Cloud Backup & Sync Sign in with Google to backup your progress securely. Never lose your streaks or points, even when switching devices. 🔔 Daily Check-In Reminders Stay on track with gentle notification reminders to check in and maintain your streaks. 🔒 100% Privacy Focused All app monitoring happens entirely on your device. We never track, log, or sell your data. Your usage habits are yours alone. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHY GREEN LEDGER? ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Unlike app blockers that frustrate you with hard locks, Green Ledger takes a mindful approach. The breathing exercise creates a pause — a moment where you can consciously choose how to spend your time rather than acting on autopilot. It's built on the science of impulse control: a brief delay between stimulus and response is often all it takes to break a habit loop. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Green Ledger requires a few permissions to work. Here's exactly why: - Accessibility Service — Detects when you open restricted apps (we never read app content) - Usage Access — Shows your app usage stats on the insights page - Display Over Other Apps — Shows the breathing overlay - Notifications — Sends check-in reminders and achievement alerts ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Start your journey to healthier digital habits today.
