Tap Folk

Tap Folk is a private space for a conversation between two people you choose. Create a conversation, share its private invitation through a trusted channel, and approve the person who joins. No registration, phone number, address book or public profile is required. PRIVATE BY INVITATION Each conversation accepts only two participants. There is no public directory, random matching, group chat or stranger discovery. Compare the encryption fingerprint with your intended contact before sharing sensitive information. MESSAGES, FILES AND VOICE Exchange end-to-end encrypted messages, supported images, H.264 MP4 videos and PDFs. The recipient chooses whether to accept each attachment. Files up to 100 MiB are checked against format and resource limits and viewed through private in-app previews. Record a voice message up to 60 seconds and change its pitch on your device before sending. Preview the transformed recording first. Only the transformed voice is offered to your contact. Pitch effects do not guarantee anonymity or prevent speaker recognition. YOUR CONVERSATION TOOLS Reply to a message or attachment, search emojis and select multiple entries. Delete entries from your own view or request deletion of your own entries for both participants. Deleted entries disappear without a placeholder. Shared deletion takes effect on the other device after delivery and cannot remove copies saved outside the app. TEMPORARY CONVERSATIONS When both participants finish, the room and its queued content are deleted. Either participant can block and leave immediately. Expired rooms are also removed. There is no recoverable chat history. Deliberately saved copies, screenshots and recordings remain outside Tap Folk control. SAFETY AND CONTROL Accept the community terms before starting. Block the current room or voluntarily report selected evidence. A report explains which readable information is sent to the operator; encryption does not silently grant the operator access to your conversation. Please read the privacy policy and in-app security notice. There are no ads or in-app purchases.
