Voyage planning Calculate passage time and estimated arrival from distance, speed and departure time. Find the speed needed to reach your destination on time. Use a current triangle to review course over ground and speed over ground from set and drift. A Voyage Worksheet links time, fuel and optional under-keel clearance with explicit assumptions. Fuel, cargo and ship calculations - Fuel Plan: estimate arrival ROB using underway and port consumption, then compare with reserves. - Endurance & Range: check remaining time and distance after reserve and unpumpable fuel. - Bunkering: calculate quantity to load and fuel transfer time against tank capacity. - Cargo Work and Stowage Factor: estimate loading or discharge time, required volume and broken stowage. - Under-keel Clearance: review chart depth, tide, draft and allowances. - Compass Course: apply signed magnetic variation and deviation. - Ship Stability: explore DEMO loading scenarios, GM and free-surface effects for advisory use. Sea service log and CG-719S drafts Record actual service dates and hours by vessel in a separate local casebook. Keep supporting photos and PDFs, reconcile dates and prepare unsigned CG-719S drafts or Sea Service Letters. Preview documents before exporting and keep a local backup including binder attachments. The calendar-day calculator is for planning: it neither creates service entries nor proves service. A bundled USCG vessel directory is an offline snapshot, not live PSIX or government verification. Unsupported form characters and text that cannot fit stop CG-719S generation with an error; they are not silently removed. Cargo & Bunker Formerly Bunker Stem, the app retains fuel quantity, VCF and mass calculations, BDN checks, MFM/sounding/ROB reconciliation, on-device OCR and barcode evidence, and Evidence Pack PDFs. Existing local operations remain available. Work offline Calculations and records stay in local storage; you choose what to export or share. Automatic web or cloud case sync is not provided. All Android tools and document exports are available without payment; no subscription or in-app purchase is required. Important limits This is decision support, not an approved loading computer or a replacement for vessel procedures, approved instruments and professional judgment. Stability scenarios are advisory DEMOs. Sea service checks and unsigned documents do not authenticate service, determine credential eligibility or guarantee USCG acceptance.
