Full description
Statistics has a habit of being right when your instincts say no. Ask 23 people for their birthday and there's a coin-flip chance two of them match. Keep one door or switch to another after a game-show host opens a losing one, and switching wins twice as often. Poll a thousand strangers and you can describe a nation of millions. Math Says Yes collects facts like these and walks through the reasoning until each one clicks. The app is a feed you scroll. Each card is a bite-sized fact from probability or the data behind everyday life, kept short and backed by a source. Many hand you a quick question first, so you commit to a guess before the answer appears, and some include a chart or a slider that shows where the number comes from. Inside you'll find: - A steady stream of counterintuitive statistics, explained in plain language - Quick questions built around the mistakes almost everyone makes - A daily five-question challenge to measure your intuition against the odds - Topics and search for probability, averages, randomness, and sampling - Saved cards plus a way to mark what you've learned - A glossary for the vocabulary that usually sends you to a textbook Reading is free and open, no account required. An account only comes in when you want to save facts or track your progress. If you enjoy trivia that changes how you read numbers, or you want statistics to finally feel intuitive, start scrolling.

What's new

Your answers now add up. Finish a few quizzes and you'll see which topics your gut reads well and which ones trip you up, plus a suggestion for what to play next. Same for the Daily Challenge. You can replay just the questions you got wrong, and there's a weekly goal if streaks keep you coming back. A friend's shared result tells you whether you beat them. Replays are free. Your first answer is the one that counts, so practice as often as you like. Fewer repeats too: the daily pool is bigger.
