Mint is a small, round, minty-green friend on a trip to find every capital letter. The trip goes from the meadow and the farm to the beach, the city, the forest, under the sea and out to space. At every stop Mint shows how to trace one letter, stroke by stroke, says its name and gives it a word, like "E is for egg", and friends Tang, Cobalt, Amber, Rose, Sky, Lilac and Chalk wait along the way. What your child learns: • Every capital letter, A to Z: its shape, its stroke order and its name • A word for each letter, from apple and ball to yo-yo and zebra • Which pictures start with which letter, by listening and looking • A to Z order: what comes next, letters in a row, and joining letter dots • Steady hands and finger control, from tracing and colouring How it plays: • Trace the letter with one finger while Mint says it out loud • Tap the picture that starts with the letter: ball, shell or umbrella at the beach • Find the letter card among three, and drop letters and pictures into their matching holes • Join the dots A to G, O to T and U to Z until a kite, a rocket or a fish appears inside the line • Colour a big letter, or a sun, a fish or a tree, with crayons There are 48 levels in four chapters, A to G, H to N, O to T and U to Z, with review stops that put the letters back in order and a sticker shelf that fills up as your child goes. The trip ends with a big A to Z party on the stage, with everyone there. For parents: Made for ages 3 to 5. There are no in-app purchases. The game plays offline, so it travels well. Mint talks your child through every activity, so a child who cannot read yet can play alone. The game shows an occasional child-safe advert after a finished level, never during play.
