PaintCalc: Paint Calculator

Work out how much paint and primer to buy before you start. Enter your measurements in feet or meters and get the amount you need plus the cans to buy, for one wall, a whole room, a ceiling or a project that spans several rooms. • Plan a single accent wall, all four walls of a room, or a ceiling • Subtract doors and windows so you only pay for the area you actually paint • Set the number of coats, coverage and a waste allowance • Work in feet and gallons, or in meters and liters with 10 L, 5 L, 2.5 L and 1 L cans • Add primer with its own coats and coverage, calculated separately from the finish paint • Enter shelf prices to find the lowest-cost mix of 5-gallon buckets, gallons and quarts, even when a bigger can is the cheaper buy • Combine walls, ceilings and trim into one project: each surface keeps its own coats and coverage, each paint gets its own can mix, and you see the project total • Start from presets such as Living Room or Ceiling Repaint • Save up to 20 scenarios with notes and reload any of them in one tap
