Tijaro POS

Tijaro POS is the till for restaurants and takeaways running on Tijaro. It turns an Android tablet into the counter: orders, tables, kitchen, payments and the day's numbers, all against the same catalogue and the same kitchen the rest of the shop uses. It is built to keep trading when the internet does not. Every sale is written to an encrypted database on the device first and synced to your Tijaro account when the network allows — a dropped connection never loses an order. WHAT IT DOES • Counter and table service — a floor plan of your rooms and tables, walk-in sales, and orders parked for later; a hold taken on one till can be recalled on another. • Menu — your own categories, photographs and prices, pulled from the same catalogue as your kiosk and online store and cached on the device so the grid never waits on the network. • Options and meal deals — sizes, extras, removals and multi-course deals, including option groups that appear only once the choice that reveals them is made. • Sold out, with a wake-up — 86 an item for the day or snooze it until a time; it greys out live on every till, kiosk and online store. • Payments — card at a paired reader with tip prompts, cash, and vouchers, split across one bill. A restricted voucher asks for a manager's approval before tender. • Kitchen — tickets print to the kitchen or land on a Tijaro Kitchen Display the moment the order is placed. • Kiosk holds — an order parked by a self-service kiosk with no card reader appears on the till labelled with the customer's slip number, marked NOT PAID, ready to settle. • Loyalty — a member's points can be redeemed against the bill. • Receipts — printed at the till, or none at all. • Staff — each member signs in with their own PIN, and what they can do at the till is set from your Tijaro portal. • End of day — a day close with takings by tender, and sales reported against the trading day, not midnight. FOR OPERATORS A till is paired to one branch of your organisation, so its sales, till number and daily order sequence belong to that branch and nowhere else. Several tills in one branch stay in step, and the kitchen, kiosk and online store all read the same catalogue this till sells from. REQUIREMENTS This app is for existing Tijaro customers. It needs a Tijaro account, a staff login with till access, and pairing to a branch. A supported card reader is needed for card payments. It is not usable without a Tijaro account.
