DrillOS

DrillOS is the field companion app for drilling contractors using the DrillOS operations platform. It replaces paper plods and clipboard pre-starts with offline-first digital capture built for gloved hands on a live rig. DrillOS is a company tool. Your account is created by your employer's System Admin and sent to you by email invite — there is no public sign-up inside this app. WHAT YOU CAN DO Daily plods, in four tabs: • Details — shift type, date, rig, hole ID, start/end depth, and crew (driller, offsider, supervisor), always selected manually, never assumed • Drilling — log runs with from/to depth, hours and drill type; run length and core recovery % calculate automatically and are colour-coded (green 90%+, orange 70-89%, red under 70%); record bit changes and downhole activities • Consumables — log product usage from your company's approved catalogue, or flag a new product for supervisor approval without holding up your submission • Activities — record all shift time (drilling, pre-start, travel, standby, bit change, breakdown and more), with a soft check against total shift length Pre-start checklists: • Complete vehicle/rig pre-start inspections with pass, fail or N/A results per item • Log defects with severity (low, medium, high, critical) for supervisor follow-up and audit trail Built for the field: • Fully offline — every entry saves to the device first and queues for sync • Automatic sync the moment signal returns, with a dedicated outbox screen showing what's pending, synced or failed • Continuous autosave — save a draft and resume later • History screen to review your own past plods and their status • Same login as the DrillOS web console used by supervisors and office staff Submitted plods move into your company's approval workflow (supervisor review, then client sign-off) and become the record used for contract billing. DrillOS is built by Tiger Fluids, an Australian drilling fluids company, for Australian drilling and geotechnical contractors — not adapted from a generic field-service app.
