BattleMaps: Scan Fighters

Scan anything. It's free to discover what's inside. The machines hold Earth, and you command the resistance. Every barcode and QR code carries a code your ship can print into a living fighter. Scan a cereal box, a soda, a book or a toy and a one-of-a-kind fighter forms in the pod in front of you, with its own creature, class, element, rarity and signature kit. The same code always prints the same fighter, so go hunting for the rare and legendary ones. TAKE BACK YOUR CITY Your real neighborhood is the map. The restaurants, parks, shops and landmarks around you are held by the machines or by rival commanders. Fly your drone over the neon city, pick a place and fight for it. Win, and your fighters stand guard there and earn gold every hour. Places close together link into territory in your faction's colors. 3V3 SQUAD BATTLES Bring a squad of up to three. Turn-based fights play out in front of the place itself, its name lit up on the sign: timing-based combos, blocks and parries, charged elemental specials, class ultimates and your faction's drone strike. STORM SURGES The machines' power grid leaks. Get out and about and your ship's sensor sweep finds surges near you: tap one, dive in and defeat the creature inside for gear the store never sells. Every week a storm rages over a real park or landmark near you. Follow the walking directions and take on the Storm Kraken, the toughest fight in the game. RAISE, TRAIN AND GEAR UP Fighters start young, grow to full size by level 10 and keep going to level 50. Feed them and keep them happy. Train them in four timed gym games (Speed Bag, Jump Rope, Runner and Combo Rush) or spar against the AI. Spend skill points in your class's skill tree, then kit them out with signature helmets, armor, gloves, boots, weapons, wings and auras. PLAY WITH THEM Your fighter is the player: shoot hoops, bowl strikes, swing for the fences and win a Dance Off. FACTIONS AND HEROES Pledge to one of four factions and climb the rankings. Weekly contests, a monthly championship and faction leaders who hold the court. Every day one fighter is crowned Hero of the Day, and champions wear the title belt. ALLIES AND TRADES Add allies with your ally code, trade fighters one for one and challenge anyone to an exhibition.
