Gesto

Gesto — ASL Alphabet Recognition Gesto uses your phone's camera to recognize American Sign Language (ASL) fingerspelling in real time. Sign a letter, and Gesto detects it instantly on screen — no typing, no manual lookup. How it works Point your camera at your hand, form an ASL letter (A–Z), and Gesto's on-device hand-tracking and machine learning model identify the letter as you hold the pose. Everything runs locally on your device — no internet connection needed, no video ever leaves your phone. Features • Real-time detection of the full A–Z ASL fingerspelling alphabet • Instant on-screen feedback as you sign • Fully offline — all processing happens on-device • Simple, distraction-free interface Who it's for Whether you're learning ASL, practicing fingerspelling, or just curious how sign language recognition works, Gesto gives you a quick, private way to check your hand shapes against the alphabet. Privacy Gesto only accesses your camera to detect hand gestures in the moment — no images or video are stored, transmitted, or shared. Note: Gesto is a learning and practice tool. It is not a substitute for professional ASL instruction or certified interpretation services.
