Full description
⚠ Note: The app interface is in Korean. This app covers Republic of Korea fishing regulations. Before you catch anything at the shore, check one thing: "Can I legally catch this right now?" Closed seasons, minimum size limits, and permitted gear differ by species under Korea's Fisheries Resources Management Act — and the rules are only published as government PDFs. This app shows you the rule and its legal basis the moment you pick a species. • 🎣 Can I Catch? — search a species to see closed-season status, size limit, and the governing article • 🪝 Gear check — non-commercial fishers may only use legally listed gear. Flag prohibited equipment (e.g. scuba gear) before you go • 🌊 Tide table — high/low tide times from the Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency (KHOA), to avoid getting cut off by an incoming tide • 🦀 Species guide — tell apart look-alike species with different rules (e.g. gazami crab vs. blue swimming crab) 📌 Sources (official government originals) All rules in this app are compiled from laws and open data published by the following government bodies. • Fisheries Resources Management Act (Korean Law Information Center, Ministry of Government Legislation): https://www.law.go.kr/lsInfoP.do?lsiSeq=259927 • Enforcement Decree of the Act — closed seasons, size limits, gear: https://www.law.go.kr/lsInfoP.do?lsiSeq=287151 • Korean Law Information Center (search current text): https://www.law.go.kr • Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries: https://www.mof.go.kr • Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency (KHOA), tide forecasts: https://www.khoa.go.kr • Public Data Portal (tide forecast API): https://www.data.go.kr 📌 Disclaimer — not a government app This app is an unofficial reference tool made by an independent developer (RealTunaLove). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing the Government of the Republic of Korea, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, the Korea Coast Guard, KHOA, or any local government. Results have no legal effect. ※ This is a reference tool to help you avoid violations. It does not show "where to catch more." ※ Results are for reference only. Always confirm with your local authority or the Coast Guard — regional ordinances and notices change often. If rules change, the official sources above prevail. ※ Tide data provided by KHOA public open data.

What's new

• Clarified in-app notice: official source of the rules (Korean Law Information Center, www.law.go.kr) and that this is an unofficial tool not affiliated with any government body • No functional changes
