Mostly shows the weather for your place – with rain radar, official warnings and mountain weather. And it tells you honestly how sure the forecast is. WHAT YOU GET • Current conditions, the next 48 hours and 10 days • Rain radar for Europe and the US with place names, plus hurricanes and tornado warning areas – or through Windy • Official severe weather warnings for Europe and the US: GeoSphere Austria, Deutscher Wetterdienst, the national services via MeteoAlarm and the US National Weather Service, as a notification if you want • Mountain weather by elevation: temperature, wind and gusts from the valley to the summit, plus thunderstorm risk, snow line, foehn and summit stations • A second source to compare against, so you can see where they disagree • A home screen widget • German, English, Spanish, French and Italian HOW SURE IS THE FORECAST? Most weather apps give you a number. Mostly adds a blue band: narrow means a clear situation, wide means several outcomes are still open. The curve is the median of the ICON ensemble runs; the band spans the 10th to the 90th percentile. That is the spread of the model runs, not a guaranteed probability of being right – and the app says so too. NO ACCOUNT Mostly keeps no accounts and never asks for your name. For warnings your place is stored rounded to about 100 metres — enough for a warning region, too coarse for an address. Switch them off and it is deleted. MOSTLY PRO Mostly Pro removes the advertising – as a monthly or a yearly subscription. The store names the price for your country before you buy. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in the App Store or on Google Play.
