BarDown is the hockey team app for whoever is holding all of that. GET PAID BACK, NOT GHOSTED You covered the ice. Or the jerseys, or the sharpening rings nobody else thought about. Put in what each person owes and BarDown does the chasing. Players see exactly who they're paying and tap straight through to Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or PayPal with the amount already filled in — or pay by card, Google Pay, or Bitcoin over Lightning right in the app. Those confirm themselves, so you're not reconciling anything at midnight. The money goes to YOU. Not to "the team", not to a pooled account nobody controls. Whoever fronted the cost is who gets reimbursed. And if your assistant manager buys the pucks this week, you can let them collect for themselves — without handing over anything else. STOP CHASING RSVPS One screen that answers who's in, who's out and who still hasn't answered. Reminders go out on their own, at a sensible hour, and stop once someone replies. Set a minimum and BarDown warns you before you're short a skater. FIND A SUB BEFORE YOU PANIC Keep a real sub list instead of scrolling three years of group texts. See who plays your position, invite the ones who actually show up, and track who has filled in before. Goalie included — especially the goalie.
