Full description

Explore the Trsat Castle beyond the Crypt. Twelve additional interpretation points adapted to your smartphones will introduce you to different locations of the Castle. Each interpretation point reveals a new layer of the Trsat Castle and in addition brings to you a special, not so well-known point of interest. Your mobile device automatically detects interpretation points when you get close enough (the Bluetooth on your smartphone must me switched on), where interpretation can be followed in Croatian or English. Therefore, let the Crypt be only your starting and/or the ending point of your tour of the Trsat Castle. The Castle is extremely dense with events from the past, and the layers it can offer. All the way from the ancient past to desirable (sometimes not accepted) romanticism till today, with still present local customs. It's the Trsat Castle, it's the City of Rijeka. Explore it. This guide is part of the "EMOUNDERGROUNDS" project, financed by the Interreg VB Adriatic Ionian ADRION 2014-2020 Program. The general goal of the "EMOUNDERGROUNDS" project is to increase the attractiveness and competitiveness of the involved areas in order to strengthen the social/economic development and sustainable/smart/inclusive growth of the entire Adriatic-Ionian region by promoting a new transnational integrated cultural-creative tourism product based on advanced emotional technologies and innovative marketing tools.
