Full description

A new classical masterpiece, every morning. Tessera delivers one carefully curated painting each day — from Vermeer's quiet interiors to Caravaggio's drama, from Hokusai's waves to the Hudson River School's vast skies. Wake up, see today's painting, learn its story, set it as your wallpaper. What you get 🎨 A painting a day — Hand-picked from the world's great museums. Over a thousand works in rotation, refreshed daily. 📖 The story behind each work — Who painted it, when, what it meant, where it lives today. Short, readable, never academic. 🖼️ One-tap wallpapers — Set any painting as your phone background. Beautifully framed, no cropping needed. 📍 Nearby museums — See which works are on display in cities near you. 🧠 Learn the masters — Bite-sized lessons on art history, movements, and techniques. 🎮 Play with art — Light games to test your eye for style, century, and artist. 🏛️ Build your collection — Favorite works you love. Revisit them anytime. 🔔 Daily notification — A gentle morning ping with today's painting. Off by default — opt in if you want it. Why Tessera? Most art apps want to teach you. Tessera just wants to give you a moment of beauty each day — the kind of pause that used to come from a calendar on the wall, or a postcard in the mail. Slow art, for a fast world.
