Earth live wallpaper Terra Live

THE PLANET. AS IT IS. RIGHT NOW. Terra is not an animation. It is a living portrait of Earth, computed in real time from your clock and live data from real satellites. What you see on your screen is what a camera in space would see this very second. REAL, DOWN TO THE MINUTE The globe turns exactly as Earth turns. The day-night line falls precisely where sunlight falls right now. When the sun rises outside your window, it rises on your wallpaper. A LIVING PLANET Live clouds from EUMETSAT and NOAA weather satellites, refreshed through the day. Every storm on your screen is real, right down to hurricanes crossing the ocean. Even the poles are honest: weather model and polar orbiter data cover what geostationary satellites cannot see. The aurora, live from NOAA space-weather data. When a solar storm lights up the polar sky, your wallpaper glows with it. The International Space Station, a glinting speck crossing on its true orbit. Lightning flickering inside real storm systems. Active wildfires and erupting volcanoes as faint embers in the night, from NASA's natural-event tracking. Seasons: real daily snow cover whitens the land it truly covers. The first snowfall outside appears on your planet within a day. Night is real too: city lights where night actually is, moonlight that follows the true phase of the Moon, meteors that grow frequent during real meteor showers. A TRUE NIGHT SKY Every star placed from the Hipparcos astronomical catalog. The Milky Way, the planets, and the Moon at its correct size, position and phase, textured with real NASA lunar imagery. THREE WAYS TO SEE YOUR WORLD Full view: the whole planet adrift in deep space. Locked: your home holds the center while real day and night sweep past. Close-up: a low-orbit view over your location in ultra-high-resolution NASA imagery, crisp terrain by day, your cities burning gold by night. A DEEP, RICH IMAGE On capable phones the planet renders from full 8K NASA imagery. Graded like a photograph through a polarizing filter: dense oceans, saturated land, glare cut away. Crafted to look expensive because it is crafted to look true. QUIETLY PREMIUM No ads. No subscriptions. No tracking. No account. One purchase, and the planet is yours. Your location never leaves your device. Terra. Your planet. In real time. SEARCHING FOR THE REAL THING? Terra is an Earth live wallpaper in real time: a 3D Earth wallpaper rendered from live satellite data, a planet Earth background that matches the sky outside your window.
