Sidetone teaches you to copy Morse code by ear, the way CW operators actually hear it, with every character at full speed from the very first lesson. Most people who quit Morse learned it the slow way first. They counted dots and dashes, then hit a wall around 10 words per minute when counting could no longer keep up. The Koch method skips the wall. You hear each character at 20 WPM from day one, start with just two of them, and add one more each time your accuracy holds. You learn the rhythm of each letter, never the count. LEARN • 40 lessons in the classic Koch order, starting with K and M. • Hear one character, tap the key you heard. Replay it, or show the answer. • Move on when you hold 90% over your last 25 answers. Turn on auto-advance for a steady flow. • Character speed from 15 to 35 WPM, with Farnsworth spacing that slows the gaps between characters without slowing the characters themselves. WORDS • Copy whole words, type what you heard, and see exactly which characters you missed. • Common English words, ham abbreviations and Q-codes, callsigns, or random five-character groups. • Limit practice to the characters you have learned so far. SPEED • Copy full lines at a fixed speed from 5 to 30 WPM, then check your copy. • On-air QSO phrases, plain sentences, common words, callsigns, or code groups, in short, medium, or long lines. • Your best score at each speed is saved. CHART • Every letter, digit, and punctuation mark, plus the common prosigns: AR, SK, BT, KN, AS, and SOS. • Tap any character to hear it at your current speed.
