Grinning Pumpkin Watch Face

A spooky Halloween watch face for Wear OS. On Halloween night a giant carved jack-o'-lantern pumpkin glows on the feast table of a haunted castle hall, candles floating in the dark above it and candelabras burning along the walls. The pumpkin is the clock. Eleven small triangles are carved round its face at the hours, the stem stands at twelve, and two blackened, twisted vines are the hands. Its face holds your information: the left eye shows your steps, the right eye your battery and the grin your unread notifications, in dark stencil letters on the glow. The date is cut through its forehead. What moves • At each new minute the candle inside gutters: every opening dims and flares back. • On the hour the lid hops, fire blazes out of the open top and a flock of bats bursts out over the hall; then the lid drops back with a puff of smoke. • Tap the pumpkin's forehead and tongues of fire lick up out of its eyes and grin. • On Halloween night, from 6 pm to 6 am, the bats come out every quarter hour, and from midnight to one the fire burns witch-green. • In always-on mode only the carved face glows faintly, with the date, your steps, your battery and the hands, to save power. Make it yours • Fire: candle gold, witch green, ghost blue or ember red; the light it throws takes the same colour. • Blaze on waking: fire also flares in the eyes each time your watch wakes (off by default). • Three complications in the eyes and the grin: steps, unread notifications and battery by default. Choose other data for any of them in the watch face editor. Made for Halloween night • A scary, animated Halloween look for October, costume parties and trick-or-treat night. • Its Halloween-night extras switch on by themselves on October 31: no setup needed. To customize, touch and hold the watch face, then tap Customize. Works on Wear OS 6 or later, such as Galaxy Watch models updated to One UI 8 Watch and Pixel Watch. Made in Watch Face Format: nothing to install on your phone, no permissions, no data collected.
