Pulsebeat is a practice-room metronome that keeps time by a running clock rather than a repeating timer, so it does not drift while you play. Set the tempo, pick a time signature — including your own — choose straight beats, eighths, triplets or sixteenths, and accent the first beat of the bar. The beat is something you can see and feel, not just hear: a swinging pendulum, a pulse ring that flashes on each beat, a grid of dots that lights up across the bar, and vibration that hits harder on the accent. The click is a light built-in system sound you can switch off entirely — the visual beat carries on without it. Do not know the tempo? Tap it in. Four taps and the reading settles; one button sends it straight to the metronome. Then there is the trainer. Twelve exercises across three levels take you from four on the floor through off-beat eighths and the gallop to mixed sixteenth-and-rest bars.
