Telangana Runners

VISION To make Telangana the fittest state in India. We are building endurance across all 33 districts, and standing against the rise of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, heart attacks and the other diseases our habits are creating. MISSION We exist to prevent lifestyle disease before it starts. Endurance, not medicine, is the first line of defence against the illnesses reshaping India's health. Through advocacy, research, structured training and community events, we are making the discipline of sport part of ordinary life in every district of Telangana. One runner, one village, one town at a time. HOW WE BUILD ENDURANCE INTO EVERYDAY LIFE Advocacy. We work to make endurance a public priority, partnering with communities, institutions and government to place fitness at the centre of public health conversations. Sports Research and Innovations. We study what actually works. From training methodology to technology, we build and test better ways to help people build endurance safely and sustainably, treating running not as a trend but as a science. Workshops. We bring education grounded in evidence directly to communities, schools and workplaces, teaching the physiology of endurance and the discipline it takes to build it. Training. Structured, accessible programmes that meet people where they are, whether a first time walker or a seasoned runner, building endurance step by step. Events. Community runs across Telangana that turn training into shared experience, culture and celebration, including our Sunday Morning Run, our flagship Cardiac Rehab Run, and the statewide Telangana Marathon. ANTIOXIDANT AntiOxidant is our own innovation, built under Sports Research and Innovations, and the first of several we are bringing to Indian running. It works in two modes. Everyday mode records your training run. Route, distance, time and pace, on any day, anywhere. Event mode turns your phone into your timing partner on race morning. It knows the course you entered, follows you around it, and ends your run when you finish. Your time and your certificate are ready at the finish line. More innovations are coming, each built for the same purpose: to make endurance measurable, accessible and ordinary across Telangana. EVERYTHING FOR YOUR RACE IN ONE PLACE Your event entry, your registration number and your bib number. Directions to the start line and to the expo where you collect your kit. Your race photographs, found for you. Your certificates and your run history. OUR FOUNDER Telangana Runners was founded by Dr Muralidar Babi, MBBS, MD from CMC Vellore, Cardiac Rehab Physician. He also founded India's first Advanced Physician Supervised Cardiac Rehab Centre in Hyderabad, helping heart attack survivors and heart failure patients rebuild their endurance and return to recreational sport. Working with survivors through primary and secondary prevention, he saw the same truth again and again. Endurance is what stands between a person and a heart attack, whether it has already happened once or not at all. That conviction became a statewide mission. YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU AND US Your runs and your routes are never sent to any other running service, any analytics company or any advertising company. There are no advertisements in this app. Location is collected only while you are recording a run, and never in between. Building a Peaceful Telangana through the discipline of sport.
