6DoF Camera Tracker turns your Android phone into a live 6-degree-of-freedom camera tracker for Unreal Engine, virtual production, previs, real-time broadcast work, MotionBuilder, and Roblox Studio — streaming pose over the same FreeD, OSC, and WebSocket protocols your pipeline already expects. WHY 6DoF Camera Tracker • Native FreeD, OSC, and WebSocket (JSON) output — plug straight into Unreal Engine, a broadcast graphics system, Roblox Studio, or anything that already expects a real PTZ head or tracking rig. No proprietary format. • Live viewfinder — see your shot on the phone as you move: the actual render via Unreal Pixel Streaming, WHIP (OBS), or NDI, or the built-in 3D view, which shows your tracked camera, frustum, and focus planes in a navigable 3D space with no engine connection at all. • Roblox integration — drive a camera live in Roblox Studio over WebSocket, or bake a recorded take into a Studio plugin that installs it as a playable camera path in a published, live Roblox game. • Scout mode — shove or joystick-fly a virtual camera through the scene, composited live on top of real tracking (ARCore or IMU), no rig or tripod required. • ARCore anchor-mode drift correction — long handheld takes get re-anchored against a real surface or printed marker instead of drifting. • Guided setup — a first-run wizard picks your target (Unreal Engine, Roblox Studio, MotionBuilder, or another receiver) and sets up the preview modes to match. TRACKING MODES • ARCore 6DOF tracking — full visual-inertial position + rotation using your phone's camera and sensors. • IMU orientation tracking — rotation-only mode with manual position entry and IMU-assisted continuity across ARCore gaps, for when ARCore isn't practical. PROFESSIONAL CONTROLS • Axis-mapping presets plus a fully custom mode, to match your engine's coordinate system. • Guided lens calibration and zoom/focus/iris channels, baked automatically into FBX export and drawn live in the 3D view as field of view and depth of field. • Procedural camera effects — Shake, Impact, Punch zoom, and Breathing, live or baked into an export. • Marker and trackable anchor modes for drift correction. • Background tracking while the screen is off. • Take recording, playback, and export to CSV, FBX, or Roblox Json, with optional effects bake and export-time motion smoothing. LIMITATIONS Full 6DOF position tracking needs ARCore device support. On IMU-only devices, Scout mode lets you fly or shove the virtual camera's position by hand as a stand-in for automatic tracking.
