Outis: Photo Metadata Remover

Photos and videos carry more than you can see. Before you share one, Outis shows you what's hidden inside it and removes it, without touching the picture itself. Outis has no internet access, so your files never leave your phone. WHAT A PHOTO OR VIDEO CAN REVEAL - Where it was taken: GPS coordinates, altitude, place names - Your phone or camera: make, model, serial numbers, lens - When: the exact date, time and time zone - Hidden extras: embedded thumbnails of the original, motion-photo clips, edit history, cover pictures - In videos: GPS and sensor tracks recorded by action cameras and drones HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick photos or videos in Outis, or share them into Outis from Gallery, Photos or Files. 2. Review what was found, sorted by risk: high, medium and low. 3. Tap "Remove all metadata". Outis saves a clean copy with a random file name, ready to share or save. LOSSLESS WHERE IT COUNTS - JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and AVIF photos: the image data is copied exactly. Not a single pixel changes. - MP4, MOV and 3GP videos: video and sound stay exactly the same. Outis checks this after every clean. - Other image formats are converted to a high-quality JPEG, and Outis asks you first. VERIFIED CLEAN Every clean copy is checked again before you see it. If anything identifying is left, Outis deletes the copy instead of handing it to you. Your original file is never changed. KEEPS WHAT YOU NEED The colour profile and, where the format allows, the orientation are kept, so your photo still looks right. Neither one identifies you.
