MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc Network) is a completely offline, decentralized messaging app that lets you chat with nearby friends without needing internet, Wi-Fi routers, or cell service. By using your phone's built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct, MANET connects directly to other phones around you to form a "mesh network." HOW IT WORKS: Unlike traditional chat apps that send your messages to a cloud server, MANET routes your messages directly from phone to phone. If the person you want to text is too far away for a direct connection, the app will automatically "multi-hop" your message through other nearby phones running the app until it reaches its destination! KEY FEATURES: • 100% Offline: No mobile data, no SIM card, and no internet required. • Multi-Hop Routing: Reach friends who are far away by bouncing messages through intermediate phones. • Self-Healing Mesh: If someone walks away and a link breaks, the app automatically finds a new path for your messages. • Private & Decentralized: No accounts to create, no servers storing your data. • Auto-Discovery: Simply open the app and instantly see who is in range to chat.
