Echess

Echess is a free online chess platform. Open the app and you are at the board — no download, no registration, no waiting. THREE WAYS TO PLAY CHESS • Standard Chess — the classic game with FIDE rules and the traditional opening. Play live against real opponents matched to your level, around the clock. • Free Setup Chess — arrange your back ranks however you like before the first move, then adjust one piece after seeing your opponent's setup. Chess where you write your own opening theory. • Cannon Chess — international chess plus the Chinese cannon, a piece that captures by jumping over another. Familiar chess with one extra tactical dimension. Each mode has its own room and its own rating, so you can focus on one or master all three. WHY PLAYERS CHOOSE US • Instant play — open the app and you are at the table. Nothing to install, nothing to set up. • Free to start — play as a guest in the free rooms, or create a free account to keep your rating, titles and match history across devices. • Live games around the clock — watch ongoing matches in any room and learn from stronger players. • Ratings, titles and leaderboards — track your progress, earn titles, climb the charts. • Chat at the table — talk with your opponent, send quick phrases, make friends. • Clubs and chat rooms — join a club, meet players who share your style. • Play against the computer — practise offline against built-in AI opponents. • 10 interface languages — English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, French, German, Russian, Vietnamese and more. • Cross-platform — your account and rating stay with you wherever you play. ALSO IN THE APP • Chinese Chess — the classic board game of the East, with its river and palace. • Queen Chess — Chinese chess reinforced with the western queen. • Free Setup Chinese Chess — build your own formation behind the river. • Endgame studio — design your own puzzles and share them with other players. FAIR PLAY Real players, real opponents. Bots never take part in ranked rooms, and free-setup rooms have a dedicated adjustment phase so both sides start on equal terms. IN-APP PURCHASES Optional. Coins and VIP memberships are purchased with Google Play Billing and unlock extra rooms, custom piece colours and score-reset quotas. Games in the free rooms are always free.
