Taoist Diary is a quiet reading app. One short passage arrives each morning, drawn from Laozi, Zhuangzi, Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus and the Dhammapada, with a line to carry into the day. No feed, no streak to chase, no catching up. THE DAILY MEDITATION Three hundred and sixty-five mornings, each one built the same way: a title, a line from the source, a short reflection, and the name of the text it came from. Every tale names the work it came from; none of them were invented for this app. LISTENING Everything above can be heard as well as read: the daily meditation, nine of the ten books, and the tales, narrated. There is background music you can leave on underneath, or turn off. Listening is the part that costs. Reading is not.
