Full description
New Native version. Now with Multiple Caption Channel support for translations and creative uses. The Difference Engine App delivers captions to mobile devices for performances and events which are using the Difference Engine system – an innovative access tool from Talking Birds Theatre Company. The system uses a Wireless Local Area Network to broadcast captions and enable show feedback via a webpage. The Captions and System Feedback options will only function when a device is connected to a Difference Engine network at a performance or event. (The system will normally be active at least 20 minutes before an event begins) The App includes a guide for connecting to a Difference Engine system, and a feedback function so users can provide feedback on the technology and/or the event attended.
