TakohaNZ

TakohaNZ makes giving simple. At participating locations, donors tap a contactless card or device on the payment terminal to support registered New Zealand charities — no cash, no forms, no app sign-up. Built for attended donation points, community events and charity kiosks, TakohaNZ turns any supported terminal into a fast, friendly way to give. WHY TAKOHANZ • Tap to give — a donation takes seconds on a contactless terminal. • Clear amounts — choose a suggested amount or enter your own. • Instant receipt — a receipt and QR code appear the moment a gift completes. • No account needed — donors never create a login or hand over personal details to give. • Built for charities — pair a terminal once and it's ready to collect. HOW IT WORKS 1. Staff pair the app to a certified EFTPOS/contactless terminal. 2. The donor chooses an amount on screen. 3. The donor taps their card or phone on the terminal to complete the gift. 4. A receipt and QR code confirm the donation. IMPORTANT TakohaNZ does not process card payments itself. All donations are handled by a certified external payment terminal, in person. The app presents amounts and receipts only — it never stores card details. Donations support registered New Zealand charities. Takoha (koha) means a gift. TakohaNZ brings the spirit of giving to a simple tap.
