Full description
Tag4Access is a community-powered accessibility map that helps you find wheelchair accessible places near you, report accessibility barriers with a photo, and make public spaces work for everyone. Every accessible entrance, washroom, ramp, elevator, and sidewalk you tag is reviewed and verified by the community, so people with disabilities, seniors, parents with strollers, and caregivers can plan their day with confidence. FIND ACCESSIBLE PLACES NEAR YOU Through the interactive accessibility map, explore accessibility information before visiting public spaces such as stores, restaurants, schools, clinics, parks, and transit stops. Check whether a location has an accessible entrance, step-free access, an accessible washroom, or a working elevator, and plan trips and daily activities with more confidence. Filter the map by feature or barrier to quickly see what matters most to you. REPORT ACCESSIBILITY BARRIERS IN SECONDS Spot a broken ramp, a blocked sidewalk, or a missing curb cut? Open Tag4Access, drop a tag, add a photo, and describe the barrier. Common tags include entrances, washrooms, sidewalks, pathways, parking, ramps, elevators, and other accessibility-related features and barriers. Your report helps neighbours avoid obstacles today and helps the community fix them tomorrow. TRACK YOUR IMPACT WITH MY TAGS Track every submission through the My Tags dashboard and see whether each report is pending review, validated, or rejected. This makes the reporting process transparent and shows you exactly how your contributions are being used to improve accessibility in your community. VERIFIED BY YOUTH ACCESSIBILITY LEADERS A key part of Tag4Access is its youth-led review system. Youth Accessibility Leaders review and validate community submissions to help ensure the information is accurate and up to date. Once an accessibility issue is verified, it can be escalated toward funding or improvement requests, turning a single tag into real-world change. WHY TAG4ACCESS - Accessibility map built by real people, not outdated databases - Wheelchair accessible places, accessible washrooms, ramps, and elevators in one place - Report barriers with a photo in seconds - Community-verified data you can trust - My Tags dashboard to follow every report from pending to validated - Youth-led validation that connects reports to funding and repairs - Inclusive design for people with mobility, vision, and other disabilities - Free to use, no ads WHO IT IS FOR Wheelchair users and people with mobility disabilities.
