Full description
Kuji is the fair way to pick. Someone has to go first. Someone has to be on Jamie's team. And the bins aren't going to take themselves out. Put your fingers on the glass. Color blooms from each fingertip, a drumroll builds, and one winner's color floods the room. It takes about a second, and it's very hard to argue with. No fingers free? Type a list of names and let Kuji draw from that instead. WHAT IT DOES • Pick one winner, fairly • Split everyone into 2 to 6 balanced teams • Settle turn order, numbered clearly • Pick several winners at once • Go again without the last winner • Save lists for your team, your class or your household, then pick without anyone touching the screen ABOUT THAT FAIRNESS We could have used the cheap random number generator. The lazy one. Nobody would ever have known. Kuji uses your phone's cryptographic generator instead, the one it uses for encryption keys. We are using bank-grade randomness to decide who takes the bins out. It's overkill. But a picker that isn't fair is just a slower way to argue, and "it's random, trust me bro" is what every rigged thing in history has said. No hidden weighting, no thumb on the scale. Every pick starts from nothing, which is why you'll lose four times running at some point. That's not the app. That's how random works. ACCESSIBILITY IS FREE, FOREVER Accessibility is free, forever. Kuji tells fingers apart by pattern and position, not colour alone. A calm, reduced-motion mode stills every animation in the app. Screen-reader labels announce every control and every result. THE MONEY BIT • No ads. Kuji never shows you an ad, free tier included. • No account, and no "continue with Google". • Picking works offline. Your lists and your results stay on your device; the only copy that ever leaves is the one your own phone backs up for you. • Kuji Unsealed is one payment. No subscription, ever. • Free gives you the pick, two teams, one winner and three saved lists. Unsealed raises all of those and adds palettes and finer control. The pick itself is never for sale. IT ALSO LOOKS RATHER GOOD Most pickers look like a settings menu. Kuji is a sheet of paper that stays quiet until you play, floods with the winner's color, then settles back to calm. We spent an unreasonable amount of time on this, on the grounds that you'll open it most days. Good for classrooms, board-game night, families, teams, raffles, chores, and every "right, who's it going to be?" moment. Drop your fingers on the glass. Let Kuji decide.

What's new

• Everyone holds a finger on the glass. Kuji picks one, fairly. • Or type a list. Kuji draws a winner, splits you into teams, or puts you in order. • No ads. Not now, not later. • Let Kuji decide.
