Full description
3D Print Cost Calculator helps makers calculate print costs, prepare customer quotes and compare the quote with the finished job. Include material, machine time, electricity, hands-on labor, extras and seller-entered fees. Keep failed prints and reprints visible, then see how the actual cost and job margin differed from your original assumptions. CALCULATE A 3D PRINTING QUOTE Build a cost profile from your own material prices, machine and electricity assumptions, labor rate and extras. Enter the quantity and time for a job, plus the amount you intend to charge. Review the inputs before freezing a numbered quote revision. This app records your pricing decision; it does not choose a selling price or promise a profitable job. Quote customer orders, check repeat-print costs and compare similar jobs. A material-only estimate can miss hands-on work, packing and failed attempts. Separate contributors make the finished result easier to understand. IMPORT SUPPORTED G-CODE HEADER FACTS Start from a supported PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer or Bambu Studio G-code header, or enter every value manually. Review imported material and time facts before using them. Their provenance remains visible on the frozen quote, so a file estimate is distinguishable from your own assumption. Import reads supported header facts, not a complete model or toolpath simulation. Unsupported files and missing facts use the manual-entry path. The app is not a slicer, a printer controller or a library of downloadable 3D models. KEEP THE ORIGINAL QUOTE Freeze a quote with its cost profile and source inputs. Later edits create a new numbered revision rather than silently changing the baseline you reviewed. This lets you return to the assumptions behind a customer quote even after the job has changed. RECORD SUCCESSFUL AND FAILED PRINTS Add each print attempt to the job timeline. Record actual material grams, machine minutes and hands-on minutes. For a failed attempt, retain the reason, such as adhesion, support, warping, filament or power, alongside its cost inputs. Reprint costs remain part of the job instead of disappearing inside a general allowance. A job needs a frozen quote and at least one successful attempt before actual closeout. A failed-only run is not presented as a completed order. Review the timeline before closing the work, and use immediate Undo if an attempt was deleted by mistake. COMPARE QUOTED AND ACTUAL COST Close the job through five cost contributors: successful material, successful machine and electricity, successful labor, failed attempts, and extras plus seller-entered fees. See planned cost, actual cost and the difference. Record actual proceeds separately to calculate the observed job margin. If a closed job needs a correction, add a reasoned revision and retain the earlier record. The closeout stays traceable to the quote and attempts that produced it. CUSTOMER QUOTES, PDF AND CSV Share a customer quote without maker-only actual costs, labor rates or internal shop assumptions. Keep a separate closeout PDF with the frozen baseline, attempt history and cost differences. Export CSV for your own analysis or bookkeeping workflow. Outputs reflect the selected revision. LEARN FROM COMPARABLE JOBS Group similar jobs using your own comparison labels. Once at least three matching jobs are closed, inspect the contributing jobs and median observed differences in material, machine time, labor, failed attempts, extras and fees. This evidence describes completed work; it does not automatically change a cost profile or future quote. LOCAL RECORDS AND BACKUP Work without an account or a developer-operated record server. Shop records stay on the device until you export or share them. Create a complete backup, inspect it before restore and recover profiles, jobs, quote revisions, attempts and closeouts together. Purchase processing is separate from your shop records. Privacy Policy: https://kanac.github.io/syanac-legal/
