Match Cut

Match Cut is a weekly film quiz for people who love how movies are made. Every week, ten new questions. Hand-written, one at a time — no trivia dumped from a database, no endless feed. You read, you choose, and the page turns. What sets Match Cut apart is the why. Behind every answer is a short, written explanation — the reason it's right, not just the fact that it is. Miss one and you still walk away knowing something. Get it right and you'll often learn why anyway. There's no buzzer and no timer breathing down your neck. Ten questions, taken at your own pace, the way you'd read a good column. When you finish, your run is locked for the week — one shot, like everyone else. Keep your streak alive week after week, and see where you land on the standings against everyone playing this week's set. Last week's placement carries over, so there's always a number to beat. The archive holds the weeks you've played, ready to revisit. Match Cut is made by hand, by people who care about film — the questions are the product. A new set lands every week. Android first. Pull up a seat. The lights are going down.
