BD Weather: Easy Weather

BD Weather is a straightforward weather app for Bangladesh, built with older adults in mind. Large fonts, clear icons and plain language make it comfortable to read and easy to understand. The app covers all 64 districts. Your device location can show the weather for exactly where you are, or you can choose a district from the list. A warning the evening before When tomorrow brings severe heat, severe cold, heavy rain, strong winds or an unusually high river, the app tells you the evening before, while there is still time to prepare. On an ordinary day it stays quiet. Warnings can be switched off in settings. Pass it on The person who needs a warning is often not the one holding the phone. Every warning can be shared with family in one tap. Special bulletins During a cyclone or a flood, a written bulletin appears at the top of the screen, together with how it has changed through the day. Sehri and iftar Fasting times for your district, all year round. Choose from five international calculation methods in settings. Air quality and sun strength Today's air quality in a number and in words, and the UV level during daylight hours. Seven days, hour by hour Today and the next seven days. Tap any day for an hour-by-hour view. The app also tells you in plain words when rain is most likely, for example: "Highest rain chance around 4 in the afternoon. Carry an umbrella." Sunrise and sunset Daily times for your area. Two languages, two themes Use the app in Bangla or English, in a light or dark theme. No account, no ads There is nothing to sign up for and no advertising. Location is used only to fetch the forecast for your area; see the privacy policy for details. Sources Weather, air quality and river data come from Open-Meteo. The warnings are calculated from that forecast data and are not official announcements.
