Snap it. Swap it. Swapaya is a local swapping app. Point your camera at something you don't use any more and it's listed in about ten seconds. Someone nearby offers you something of theirs. You meet, you swap, and you both go home with something you actually want. No money changes hands. There is nothing to pay and nothing to charge. NO PRICES — ON PURPOSE Most apps put a number on your things and let people argue about it. We don't show prices at all. You look at their photo, they look at yours, and the two of you decide whether it feels fair. No haggling, no lowball offers, no "what's your best price?" HOW IT WORKS 1. Snap it — take a photo and your listing writes itself: title, description, category. 2. Find a match — see what people near you are offering, and what they're looking for. 3. Offer a swap — pick one of your things and offer it. Ask for a bundle if you'd rather trade two of yours for one of theirs. 4. Meet or post — agree a public spot nearby or post it if you're further apart. Then rate each other. WHY PEOPLE SWAP · It costs nothing. No fees, no commission, no listing charges, no subscription. · It's on your doorstep. Swaps happen with people in your area, not a warehouse. · Nothing goes to landfill. The jacket you stopped wearing becomes someone's favourite. LOCAL BY DESIGN You set your swapping centre, choose how far you're willing to travel, and see what's genuinely nearby. Your exact address is never shown — your location is rounded before it's stored, and other people only ever see the rough area. MEETING SAFELY Every listing can be reported. Every person can be reported and blocked. There's a clear list of things that can't be swapped, and listings are screened against it. When you arrange a swap we suggest public places — stations, libraries, parks and high streets — near the halfway point between you. Swapaya is for over-18s only.
